Returns
Bittersweet Fashion prides itself on customer service and satisfaction. If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with your order, you may return it for an exchange or refund within 14 days. Restriction apply to certain merchandise, please see below for details.

Apparel & Footwear
Bittersweet Fashion accepts returns and exchanges on full priced merchandise that HAS NOT BEEN WORN, ALTERED OR WASHED, and with ALL ORIGINAL tags attached.
Footwear returns and exchanges must include the original shoe box in its original condition and without postal labels. Damages to or omission of this box from your return/exchange will result in a 15% re-stocking fee.
Returns must be received within fourteen (14) days of receipt..
Products such as bodysuits or swimwear are not returnable.

Accessories
All accessories are non returnable. No returns or exchanges will be accepted.

Cosmetics
All cosmetics are non returnable. No returns or exchanges will be accepted.

Halloween
All costumes are non returnable. No returns or exchanges will be accepted.

All shipping charges are non-refundable
Please include a copy of your receipt with your return indicating the items you wish to return.
Bittersweet Fashion reserves the right to refuse a refund or exchange if merchandise received is not in its original condition or outside the fourteen (14) day return period

Returns on special orders are not accepted.
Ship your return or exchange through an insured trackable carrier, as Bittersweet Fashion cannot be responsible for lost or damaged packages
An email notification will be sent to you once your package has been received by Bittersweet Fashion
Refunds will be issued to the original form of payment within five (5) business days of receipt of your return (please note that your banking institution may require additional days to process and post this transaction to your account once they have received the information from Bittersweet Fashion)


Shipping
All orders placed Monday-Friday before 2 PM (EST) will begin processing and ship within 24 hours*, pending availability and credit card authorization. All orders placed Friday after 4:30 PM (EST), Saturday or Sunday will begin processing, but not ship until the following Monday.
*Holidays excluded.
Bittersweet Fashion will contact you with a follow-up email if, for some reason, the merchandise you have selected is currently out of stock or if additional identification is needed for credit authorization.

During checkout, you will have the option of choosing an expedited form of shipping. *DELIVERY TIME DOES NOT INCLUDE SATURDAYS, SUNDAYS, OR HOLIDAYS

Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email confirmation that will include a tracking number for your package.

If you decide to refuse any shipments from Bittersweet Fashion, you are responsible for both the original shipping cost incurred and the cost of returning the package to us. This amount will be subtracted from your merchandise refund.

INTERNATIONAL
All international orders are subject to duties, taxes and fees as determined by their local government. The customer is responsible for all duties and taxes. Custom authorities require that we state the value of your order directly on your package. It is at the sole discretion of custom agents to release your package. Note, in rare occasions custom agents may delay delivery of some packages.
WHAT TYPES OF INTERNATIONAL PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?
For international customer, when a credit card is used, your order will go through our Fraud Prevention Department for review, and we will notify you via email if your credit card status is not within the Visa/Master/Amex card security measures, at that point, we might issue a refund back on your card, and request a bank wire transfer, with an additional $15 wire fee OR a PayPal payment option.

Shipping to Canada is $20 flat rate.
Shipping to the rest of the world is $25 flat rate.
Refused Packages
Orders that are refused will be charged the original shipping plus return shipping to us. Orders shipped via UPS are subject to the 'Terms and Conditions of Service' as detailed on UPS.com.


Tax
Items shipped within New York are subject to Sales Tax.

We neither sell nor share your information with outside companies or third parties.

When you purchase from our online store, we collect your name, billing and shipping addresses, phone number, e-mail address, and credit card information. You provide this information so we can process and ship your order. We respect your privacy by not selling or sharing this information.

ONLINE SECURITY

Your credit card is completely safe.

Protecting your information is our highest priority. We have developed several safeguards to keep your information completely confidential. To proceed to checkout, you must enter your e-mail address and create a password. The checkout process itself employs Secure Sockets Layer (SSL)* technology to ensure your safety.

*Secure Sockets Layer encrypts your order information and sends it to a secure server, making it impossible for that information to be decoded by a party outside of the store you shop with.

Furthermore, only our store will have your information; other members of the Modern Retail community will not have access to your information unless you decide to shop with them.
